The Barns Hotel is situated in a beautiful riverside location, within 3.5 acres of landscaped gardens, yet just 10 miles from the M1 and 8 miles from A1.
The tranquil setting offers views of the great River Ouse and the local country park and wonderful grounds in which to stroll and relax.
For more strenuous activities, guests have access to the local Oasis Fitness and Leisure Club. Samuel Whitbread, founder of the brewing business, was born in the main house in 1720 and it remained within the Whitbread family until 1890s, becoming a hotel in 1987.

The hotel has 48 well appointed bedrooms, ranging from standard twin and doubles, to suites and executive rooms. The Fenlake Suite has a most comfortable four-poster bed and is ideal for special occasions and celebrations. One room has modified facilities for use by disabled guests.
Each bedroom is traditionally and comfortably furnished with dark wood furniture, power showers in the spacious bathrooms, TV, trouser press, hair dryer and hospitality tray.
The Anglers Restaurant offers delicious food and great views out over the River Great Ouse. The restaurant offers a superb à la carte menu with an excellent wine list to match. Alternatively, you may choose to dine in the Riverside Bar, with its open fires and traditional pub meals.

The hotel is approximately 18 miles (30 km) from Luton Airport. Taxis are readily available from just outside the airport.
By Train:
The hotel is approximately 3 miles (5 km) from Bedford railway station.
